The main Image is usually in the centre of the magazine front cover and is usually someone well known like a celebrity. Using a celebrity or a well known face as the main image might make people to buy to buy it as they might want to read more about the person on the front cover.

The plug is included to promote things such as competitions and usually stands out so it can intrigue people to take part in them.

The Main title, also known as the Mast head. This has to be eye catching as people want to be able to see what the magazine is called from a distance away. Usually in a colour that stands out so that it is easy to read.
